Mom had a systoscopy and bladder biopsy July 9th.  She was in a lot of pain afterwards and I took her to Urgent Care first thing Saturday morning.  They sent us to the emergency room, who eventually sent us down to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara (60 miles south of Lompoc).

The surgeon poked a hole in her bladder while biopsy-ing and she had a lot of air in her abdominal cavity which is the reason for all the pain.

The urologist in SB (NOT the one who operated in Lompoc) is waiting to see how she progresses (??) before he decides if she needs surgery.  She's on a liquid diet (and Not Happy!) which is supposed to help her bladder (??). I spoke with the nurse this morning and am waiting for a call from the doctor.

I'm going down to see her this afternoon, and will be going down in the next couple of days in between my work hours.  I'm working as a personal aid to adults with mental and some physical challenges so my hours aren't the regular 9-5 type.

What a mess :-(
