On the Good News front: Mom had her catheter removed today and the biopsy came back cancer-free!!! Hooray!!
On the I-Am-So Stupid front: the friend I was cat-sitting for paid me $200 for the 11 days. I had to work this morning from 6:30-8:00 am so I tucked the eight 20's into my purse so I could deposit it on the way home. Got to the bank... no money. All I could think of was that it somehow fell out of my purse when I pulled some stuff out at my client's home. My co-worker checked for me when he went in at 5pm, but couldn't find. Since my client's boyfriend was hanging out at her place, my co-worker and I suspect he is now $200 richer. I'm an idiot, I should have put it in my wallet rather than just dropping it into my purse. Lesson learned :-( I NEEDED that money, it was earmarked for bills. Stupid idiot.

Date: 2015-07-22 03:56 am (UTC)I remember getting a $100 bonus at a hotel job once. The bonuses when we made our numbers were always paid in cash. That month, I put it in my pocket. Then, at some point, I'm sure I had my hands in and out of pockets and, yup, the bill fell out. Do you think anyone turned it in at the front desk? Hail, no.
